The first step towards a healthy and nice smile is a dental consultation. In this article we gathered everything you need to know about this appointment. Let`s see the details.
Dental treatments vary in length and cost. Aside from wanting to have a new smile, most people want to know what to expect, as soon as possible. “We are happy to provide general information about prices and treatments over the phone, and our website also covers a lot of topics” – says Dora Losonczi, head of Customer Care at VitalEurope. “However, there are no two identical cases, therefore the best and easiest way to find out the esact prices and length of treatment, is to attend a personal consultation.”
The price of getting started
You can book a consultation over the phone, via email, or on the website`s chat surface. When booking the appointment, our collagues normally ask a few dental related questions, so we have an idea about the patients` needs. We do consultations at our London clinic Monday to Friday. The appointment costs £81 (£69 CT-scan and £12 safety tariff). However, if you happen to have a CT-scan no older than 3 months, you`d only need to pay the safety tariff.
Just like a friendly chat
AT VitalEurope our primary goal is to make the patient feeel as comfortable as possible. We want to make sure that everyone is relaxed during their appointments, and that the enviroment is stress-free. There`s nothing to be afraid of, the consultation is like a friendly chat, where the subjkect happens to be your teeth. “The dentist starts the appointment by asking general questions form the patient, getting an idea of what they are after. This is followed by a mouth examination (no poking, just looking). Next up is the CT-scan. In order to get a full picture of what needs to be done, we haev to take an X-ray. Once the dentist finished examining the CT-scan, it`s the patients` time to ask questions. They discuss all the issues at hand, and all the possible solutions.
A proposal that fits your needs and budget
Once the consultation with the patient ends, the dentist starts the work. Collaborating with a dental surgeon if needed, he creates proposals that serves the same purpose: to solve the patient`s dental issues. There are several ways to treat the same problem, so the dentist normally writes 2-3 proposals. These proposals are discussed with the patient, so they have an idea about the pros and cons of each solution. The idea is to restore/create a smile that lasts for a long time, and makes life happier.
Once the consultation ended, the patient can take the proposals home, to go through them as many times as needed. They don`t need to make a decision right away. Their coordinator will give them a call ina few days time, to see if they have any questions.
