“I wanted to make my son proud. I wanted him to be fond of my smile. It felt wrong to tell him to take care of his teeth, when I did not took care of mine.” says Gary, who has always been ashamed of his smile, but after having excessive treatment at VitalEurope, he -once again- can smile freely. I decided a while ago to have my teeth done, because they were in a pretty bad shape. I looked around on the internet, and did a bit of research. That`s how I found VitalEurope.” says Gary, a young father, who had his first consultation at our clinic in London. During his first appointment, he discussed his dental needs with our team of experts. “Everybody knows that dental treatment is expensive. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about traveling to Turkey or Hungary -or anywhere abroad-, to have my teeth done. What if things don`t work out? Luckily, VitalEurope has a clinic in London as well, which made me feel much safer.” Gary says this was the turning point for him, and that was when he decided to choose us to create his new smile.
From the dentist`s point of view
This is how Gary`s main specialist, Dr Attila Pesei remembers the treatment: “Gary`s initial consultation was back in August 2019. He said he has not been to a dentist for many-many years. Unfortunately, you could tell this by the state of his teeth and gum. He was ashamed of this, and wanted a full mouth reconstruction. He tried to alter his smile before, with the help of veneers. These veneers lost their color and shape throughout the years. He has not been to a dental hygienist either for many years, so he had plaque around his teeth, which caused gum inflammation. A lot of his teeth were broken due to severe decays.
I recommended a full mouth restoration, in order to stop the inflammation, adjust the bite into a correct position, and to achieve the desired aesthetic results. We used metal-free crowns and bridges to reach our goal.
After a few necessary extractions, and the much needed dental hygiene treatment, we had to wait a few months for Gary to heal. This wait was unfortunately extended by Covid.
During the second stage of the treatment, we used CAD/CAM zirconium crowns and bridges, to achieve the best possible results. We made Gary`s dream come true.” says Dr Pesei.
In good hands
Gary knew his journey will be long. First, he wanted to have dental implants – which is one the main reasons people come to our clinic from abroad -, but we managed to carry out the entire treatment without using them.
“It took me two years to complete my treatment, because of Covid. During the pandemic, I received a lot of care and attention from VitalEurope. They kept me updated, until the restrictions allowed traveling again.” says Gary, who had to maintain his dental health during the lockdown, so he would not lose the results he achieved already.
“Budapest is amazing. It`s a friendly city, and it is almost impossible to get lost. I walked around in town between treatments. First I was nervous, because I don`t speak the local language. Luckily, everyone here seems to speak English pretty well, so there were no language barriers. I loved it, and I`m sure I will be back.”
